His jacket is littered with dust near the bottom edge due to harvesting monsters in order to keep himself alive. The hammer that he wields is shaped like an hourglass, and must be filled with dust. If it empties, Glass dies.
He barely rememberes anything from his timeline, but one thing's for certain; his papyrus is gone. He knows that much. At least he isn't the only one, universal travel and talking to other outcodes has proven that. Although not everyone is very friendly after seeing the dust on his jacket.
